Join us at the last Wednesday of every month!

A new ministry started on Wednesday, February 27,2008, a monthly noon meal for those who are hungry for food and/or companionship. The meal is free and for those needing it, a bag sandwich and information on local assistance programs was also provided. The Kitchen served over 80 people who enjoyed the meal and friendly conversations at the tables.

The energy for this new ministry is coming from several people who shared in Bible studies and discerned a local need. Their goal is to develop a noon meal for the last Wednesday of each month for those living in Ocean City who could use a warm meal and sense of community.

The lunch is on the last Wednesday of the every month at NOON in the Stainton Room.

If you would like to help us in this project please contact the church office, Linda Conover –391-8945 or Barrie Martin – 926-1355.

If you would like to give a financial gift, make your check out to ST. PETER’S UMC and memo GOD’S KITCHEN.

What if a Christian does not have clothes or food? And one of you says to him, "Goodbye, keep yourself warm and eat well." But if you do not give him what he needs, how does that help him? A faith that does not do things is a dead faith.
