Wells for Liberian Villages

Over the last two decades, the nation of Liberia in western Africa has been

decimated by civil war. Much of the intrastructure was destroyed. The Rev.

Daniel Gueh of the African United Methodist Church in Trenton is going to

Liberia early in 2008 to present funds for wells. Many villages are without

a well and pump. They must travel miles for water and then often it is

unsafe to drink. Water is the most basic substance needed for life. Imagine

the gift of fresh water to a village in Africa this Christmas.
