Julie Morris has been doing mission work in Smolensk, Russia sicne 2003.
In 2004 she had the calling to start a Christian Sunrise Camp which has
since blessed many Russian children and youth.
Julie first formed a bond with the Russian children when they were in the New
Jersey area to dance. Once she began visiting them in Russia her heart has
belonged to them. As Julie says, she was able to pack her souvenirs and gifts
to bring home, but her heart stayed in Russia.
She also is teaching and training the youth in the Smolensk United Methodist
Church where she has visited the past two summers.
Julie has an amazing rapport with all ages in Russia, and this will enable God's
love to shine through her to be a witness to these people in need. In her past
visits she has shared her testimony and made an impact on young people who
are now her friends in Russia. It is with thankfulness that we can support her
through both finances and prayers in this ministry.
