Michael Smith toured with the singing group “Up with People” for a year prior to attending college. He attended Asbury College in Kentucky where he received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Music with an emphasis on Church Music. He felt called by God into pastoral ministry and so continued his education attending Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, where he received his Masters of Divinity degree with Honors.

At the end of his second year at seminary, Albree and he were married on June 18, 2005. They grew up in the same community of Delran, NJ, and attended Delran United Methodist Church together.

Michael has a strong background in hands-on ministry. He has had numerous opportunities to lead worship, develop programs, pastor individuals and preach in varied settings from local congregations, to prison ministry and summer youth camps. He has a passion for growing youth and adults as disciples of Christ and nearly a decade of experience.

Albree is a graduate of Eastern University and certified in Special Education, K-12 and Elementary Education K-8th. She taught for a year in Jackson, Mississippi, as Michael completed his degree and this year taught in the Watchung School system.
